EDIT: a DD?!?! You guys... seriously...wow... thank you so so so so so so so so so so much to $damphyr for featuring this artwork as a DD. I was so happy I even cried a little (which feels a bit lame admitting to but dagnabbit I was happy!).

Charles, you loveable bastard, I'm so glad I put off my other work to paint you! Thank you so much to everyone who's been fav'ing & commenting, you have no idea how much I love reading each comment.. thankyou.

Weeeeell because I don't have enough to do, I decided I'd do even more! I really should have been finishing many other projects, not the least of which is my coursework assignment and replying to my DA comments (I will get there!).

Anyhoo - move over Jensen Ackles and make way for James McAvoy (I know, poor Jensen will be just devastated).

I have been watching/rewatching First Class, which is just awesome btw, and I will not accept opinions to the contrary >_>

Anyway, because I'm not going to be able to do any more art until I finish my assignment T_T I thought I'd at least do something quick to tide me over until I can work on my big arty projects again. Forgive the uninspired title, it's late and my brain is already asleep.

Technial Details
Photoshop, hard round-edged brush plus a couple of `adonihs brushes for added texture at the end.

but primarily this one: [link] which is a lovely James pic but doesn't look much like he does as Xavier, so I modified him.

I tried not to be very precious about it, just kept everything loose and messy an just generally have a bit of fun with it. Tis not perfect, but I kinda like it that way
